Riveting is used on numerous parts such as door panels, A, B and C columns, rear quarters, cockpit, bumpers etc. Riveting is possible on any material provided that the ultrasonic is applied to the thermoplastic part.

The main difference between ultrasonic welding and ultrasonic riveting lies in the fact that when riveting melting deformation occurs and only one of the two joining sections is plasticised. This makes it possible to join any thermoplastics that are not polymer compatible to each other or to non-plastics. As a result, the riveted joins are almost free from play, because the cold riveting tool allows the fused rivet head to cool under pressure.
Ultrasonic welding: ultrasonic vibration with ultrasonic welding mould, the ultrasonic welding energy conduction to the plastic surface, resulting in local temperature, so that the plastic surface melting. Under the pressure of the ultrasonic hand, so to weld plastic, beautiful, strong effect.
Ultrasonic riveting is suitable for the positive joining of thermoplastic together or to non-plastics.

20Khz Ultrasonic Pistol for Drilling Hole in Fabric. This is ultrasonic plastic standard welding machine. It can be easily customized to fit the exact specifications of the parts being welded. According to customer's special requirements, we can design the suitable horn and bottom modle to finish welding.
Today
ultrasonic welding is used in every industry that processes plastics. Most common
uses are in the Automotive, Medical, Textile, Food, Plastics, and Packaging
industries. Conforming to the spirit of "Service First", ALTRASONIC
provides lifetime maintenance to its products for as long as they are used by
customers.
ultrasonic sealing, the heat required for melting is only generated inside the thermoplastic sealing layer. For localized conversion of vibrations to friction heat, the anvil or sonotrode profiles are mostly linear. These profiles ensure focusing of the energy input and therefore short sealing times between 100 and 200 milliseconds.
