Working Principle

Altrasonic Technology's latest ultrasonic deburring system utilizes the cavitation effect and high-frequency vibration principle. It converts ultrasonic energy into targeted mechanical force, achieving non-contact deburring without chemical additives, using only process water as the medium. The ultrasonic sonotrode tip induces a large number of microscopic cavitation bubbles in the process water. When these bubbles rapidly collapse (implode), they release high-intensity impact force and discontinuous water flow, simultaneously causing high-frequency vibration of the burrs on the workpiece surface. The collapse impact force and vibration work together on the burrs (including intersecting holes, hidden burrs, injection molding parting line burrs, and "flash") on the inner and outer surfaces of the workpiece, causing the burrs to break off without thermal stress, without damaging the workpiece body or its original sharp edges.
